 Real Betis will host AS Roma at the Estadio Benito Villamarín in Matchday 4 of Group C of the 2022/2023 Europa League. The match is scheduled to kick off at 11pm on Thursday 13th October 2022.

Rome is in a rather difficult situation right now. A team led by Jose Mourinho is very unlikely to match Betis in his race for the group title. Second place is probably the most realistic target for Giallorossi. Roma lost 2-1 to Betis at the Olimpico on Matchday 3 last week. Roma took the lead with a penalty from Paulo Dybala, but La Liga internationals Guido Rodríguez and Luis Enrique scored twice to lose.

Betis are currently leading the table with nine points, followed by Ludogorets Razgrad on four, Roma on three and HJK Helsinki on one.

Instead of traveling to Spain later, the odds of a victory for Roma are not as great as Roma are not reinforced by Niccolò Zaniolo, who received a red card. Paulo Dybala, who suffered a serious injury in Italy's 2-1 Serie A win against Lecce last weekend, will also miss Roma.
